Sasha Banks is one of the top female WWE Superstars in the history of the company. Her accolades speak for themselves and she has competed in some of the best matches in the company’s history. She also once requested her release from WWE.

Sasha Banks was pulled from the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view and was absent for a long time. However, she made her shocking return to WWE television at Extreme Rules. Since then she became one of the mainstays of WWE television once again.

While speaking on an interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sasha Banks revealed why she requested Vince McMahon for her WWE release. McMahon rejected her request and told her to take 30 days to think about it.

While speaking to BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani, Sasha Banks recalled why she asked for her release in the first place . It came down to her not feeling the best she could have felt.
