WWE released another crop of talent on November 18th to match the roster of stars that lost their jobs on November 4th. This new wave of releases included John Morrison, Hit Row, and others. Drake Maverick was also cut.

Sean Sapp confirmed Drake Maverick’s release. The man himself was quick to follow with his own social media drop.

Maverick lost his job already, and he got it back through an emotional journey in NXT. That was thanks to Triple H, who isn’t around anymore. Sadly, The Game is still at home.

Drake Maverick might have seen his WWE release coming, because he dropped a very nicely produced video online directly after his release. You can check out his immediate thoughts below.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
