WWE seems to have bigger plans lined up for Aja Smith and McKenzie Mitchell. Both Smith and Mitchell have reportedly been moved up to the main roster.

Mitchell was reportedly called up to the main roster on Monday night. However, she is still working on the upcoming episode of NXT 2.0, which Mitchell confirmed via her Instagram stories.

There is no official news as to whether this will be the permanent arrangement going forward, with Mitchell working both RAW and NXT every week. Mitchell signed with WWE in September 2019, prior to which she was with Impact Wrestling. She has also hosted shows for WWE Digital in the past.

Similarly, NXT referee Aja Smith has also been working RAW for two weeks in a row now. Smith called up Monday night’s match between Bianca Belair and Tamina Snuka. There is also no news as to whether Smith’s new arrangement is permanent.
