Right off the heels of his victory against Eddie Kingston at Full Gear, CM Punk is in the news once again. This time it’s to point the finger of recognition at another talented wrestling star from ROH: Brody King.

When thinking of Ring of Honor, the name CM Punk most certainly comes up. Especially when thinking about its long history in the industry and the stars that came up there. Punk spent a great part of his time there and mentioned it often, even in promos while with WWE.

He had something to say about the sad state of affaires right now for ROH, their hiatus and their possible end. He also would love to see one of its stars in AEW. He said all of this during an AEW Full Gear media scrum:

“I mean, I think it sucks that the place is going to go out of business and people are going to lose their jobs. I’d like to see Brody King here. Man, there’s so much talent there. There’s so much talent here. I’m sure you’re going to see – I didn’t even know Lethal was here until it happened. I’m sure you’re going to see different people. It’s an exciting time.”

Tony Khan previously stated that anyone can show up in AEW, as was proven with the legendary ROH performer, Jay Lethal, he debuting at Full Gear. Who knows who else will show up from that incredibly talented ROH roster in the weeks and months to come?
