Jay Lethal is one of the most established pro wrestlers on the planet right now. He made a name for himself in TNA and various other promotions before becoming one of the top stars in Ring Of Honor. Now it seems AEW feels like home to him.

With Ring of Honor releasing all of their talents in order to change things up, Jay Lethal became a free agent. It didn’t take him long to find a new home as Lethal made his debut at AEW Full Gear.

While speaking during the post-AEW Full Gear media scrum, Jay Lethal talked about how it was like making his way to AEW. Lethal stated that AEW instantly felt like home to him as he met up with people he has worked with throughout his 20-year career.

”The easiest way to answer that is that this feels like home immediately. Other than meeting Tony for the first time, I walked in the building and instantly saw people I had met throughout my twenty years in the pro wrestling. Some I was well acquainted with, some I only met a few times in passing. Some men and women I hadn’t seen in 15 years and it was as if we never skipped a beat. So, right away, my first thirsty seconds here, I was like, man, this is home.”

Jay Lethal also said that he is All Elite for the rest of his career. He made comparisons to Willy Wonka and himself as he claimed to have won a golden ticket, and now he’s in Tony Khan’s pro wrestling company. This is obviously an opportunity that Jay Lethal is very happy to receive.

Lethal is also set to challenge Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship next week on AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see how Lethal will perform in his AEW in-ring debut.
