Big E’s journey to the top of WWE has been one full of hurdles and obstacles at every step of the way. After a solid run in NXT, Big E made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. It seems he wants to give Gable Steveson a shot at his title.

The New Day member made headlines in September after he promised to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase. This would lead to lot of excitement among fans and there is a good reason for that.

Big E ended up cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley and defeated him for the WWE Championship. Thus, he ushered in the era of Big E on Monday Night RAW.

Gable Steveson previously hinted at going after Big E’s WWE Championship. While speaking to Planeta Wrestling, Big E talked about Gable Steveson signing with WWE. Big E then revealed that he is all for defending his WWE Championship against Gable Steveson when Steveson is ready for it.

“Seeing what he did at the Olympics, watching his Olympic Gold medal match, just incredible. We were all talking about it in the locker room, so the fact that he’s here in WWE, obviously he needs some time to train and get ready.

But when the time is right, if he earns that shot and he’s ready for it, then I’m all for it. I am a big fan of all the stuff that he’s done, he’s just a mind-blowingly good athlete. The fact that he’s still in college, like, he can still win another National Championship. It’s kind of crazy. But yeah, salute to him, and I am excited to see what he does in the WWE.”

It remains to be seen when exactly Gable Steveson will make his debut in WWE and perhaps feud with Big E. Fans are certainly eagerly waiting for his WWE debut.
