Kenny Omega, Seth Rollins & Bryan Danielson are at very different places in the world of pro-wrestling right now. Danielson & Omega are at each others’ throats at AEW, while Seth Rollins is a huge WWE superstar. All of them started their conquest at around the same time.
Seth Rollins & Bryan Danielson were making it big at Ring Of Honor in 2008, when Kenny Omega was still getting a hang of the ropes. The three were together in the Ring of Honor’s Bound by Hate show, tackling each other in a triple threat match. The 13th anniversary of the same match was on 8th September, 2021.
After a fan took to Twitter to note the anniversary, which caught the eye of Omega himself. Omega took a jab at Danielson while subtly name-dropping Seth Rollins. The fan also posted a clip of the match in the tweet, which you can check out down below.
Omega said in the tweet that he expected the match to be a fun experience. He didn’t think he’d be super-gluing a closed cut, he told Bryan. He then name-dropped Rollins and said that he never received that from him in a ring, telling Bryan he won’t forget that.
I just wanted to go out and have a great match. Ended up being the first time I had to super glue a cut closed. Seth never did me wrong like you did, Bryan. I won’t forget that.
We will have to see if Seth Rollins has anything to say about this. Odds are the two will only battle on social media unless something drastically changes with their employment status.
Omega is currently the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, and will take to defending the title on Saturday’s Full Gear PPV. Rollins on the other hand is becoming one of the biggest threats to Big E’s reign as the WWE Champion.
