Roman Reigns Called A Much More Influential Wrestler Than CM Punk

Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long. 

Roman Reigns has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Last month, Roman Reigns brutally burned CM Punk as he stated that Punk lost step. Many fans felt Reigns was wrong in that assessment but it seems others agree with Roman Reigns.

While speaking on Keepin It 100 podcast, Konnan compared Roman Reigns and CM Punk. Konnan stated that Roman Reigns is a way more influential wrestler than CM Punk right now.

“I think that for one night or one month, CM Punk was imore influential than Roman Reigns. Looking at the whole year what Roman has been able to do, increase ratings, increase buzz. Ypu know, maintain a great storyline for over a year with different guys; get an aura about him that only the Rock’s probably gonna defeat. I mean, I think he has been way more influential.”

Roman Reigns has certainly learned lot from Bret Hart’s expertise and it shows in his own in-ring skills. We will have to wait and see if CM Punk will remain one of the hottest topics of discussion in the pro wrestling world in the future or not.
