Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long

Roman Reigns has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

The Tribal Chief is a student of the game and like many current pro wrestlers, he grew up watching pro wrestling at an early age. Reigns was especially inspired by WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart. Reigns even once said that he respected Hart for being a “blue-collar sports-entertainer”.

While speaking with WWE Deutschland, Natalya gave huge props to her uncle Bret Hart. She also revealed a personal conversation she had with Roman Reigns, where she stated that Reigns was touched by Bret Hart’s comments about him.

“I showed Bret the interview and Bret said, ‘All the years of hard work and the bumps and the bruises, to be able to inspire the next generation and Roman, to be able to inspire someone that’s at the top of their game,’ he said, ‘it just means everything to him,’

Because it makes him feel like all of his work wasn’t for nothing.’ I told Roman that and he was just super touched because Bret is special to him and he’s special to me.”

Roman Reigns has certainly learned a lot from Bret Hart’s expertise and it shows in his own in-ring skills. We will have to wait and see who Roman Reigns feuds against next now that Brock Lesnar is out of the picture for the time being.
