Karrion Kross’ WWE Release Emotionally Devastated Him Says Eric Bischoff

Karrion Kross had a solid run in NXT, where he went on to win the NXT title twice. Unfortunately, his main roster run was far from great in comparison. It seems Eric Bischoff couldn’t believe Kross got released from WWE.

Karrion Kross debuted new mask after he lost the NXT Championship. Since his first day on the main roster, his fiancée Scarlett wasn’t paired with him. Kross also revealed who came up with the idea of his mask.

As reported earlier, WWE was preparing to change Karrion Kross’ gimmick for the third time. However, all of it was of no use as he was released last week as part of the company’s latest cuts.

While speaking on the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff talked about Karrion Kross’ release from WWE. Bischoff was understandably shocked at his release and stated that he believes Kross was emotionally devastated by the release.

“Karrion Kross, what the hell? To get that close and have the rug get pulled out from underneath you is emotionally really, really devastating because of the time and the commitment that goes into trying to make it to the big leagues, but again going back to what I’m thinking when I saw this is once they get out of the funk, the disappointment of being let go, it’s just nothing but opportunity, man,

Karrion Kross already hinted at his next move after his WWE release. Even Braun Strowman recently invited him to appear at the next ‘Control Your Narrative’ event. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Karrion Kross.
