Doudrop Is Heartbroken Over Eva Marie’s WWE Release

Eva Marie returned to Monday Night RAW earlier this year, with mixed results. Eva Marie teamed up with Doudrop since she made her return to the company. It seems Doudrop was heartbroken over Eva Marie’s WWE release.

For the past few months, WWE has been releasing several employees including WWE Superstars, beginning with the release of Superstars such as Chelsea Green and Mickie James in April.

Back in June, WWE held yet another round of cuts from the company and it included several big names. Among them include the likes of Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy. Unfortunately, WWE released several Superstars again recently. This included the likes of Nia Jax, Karrion Kross, Keith Lee, Eva Marie and more.

While speaking to Metro, Doudrop talked about Eva Marie’s release from WWE. Doudrop said that she was heartbroken and added that she hoped Eva Marie will eventually come back to the company.

“Honestly, I’m absolutely heartbroken because that woman is a big sister to me. Behind the scenes, she’s the nicest person you will ever meet… Every single person, she’s got a funny story with them. I just love her so much. I hope it’s not the last we’ve seen of her in WWE, I think she’s amazing. When you see her in real life, you’re, like, you’re amazing at being a heel. But time will tell – who knows what will happen in this crazy world?”

It was previously reported that Eva Marie leaving WWE for an acting job might have played factor in her release. We will have to wait and see if Marie will eventually return to the company again or not.
