Adam Page found his success with fans organically thanks to his relatable character work and excellent in-ring skills. He is also part of one of the most compelling storylines in AEW thanks to his storyline with Kenny Omega. It seems Bully Ray doesn’t think Adam Page should win the AEW World Championship.

After a long hiatus from AEW television, Adam Page made his return to the company during the Casino Ladder match last month. Page was revealed to be the Joker and went on to win the match.

Since then Page has cut some incredible babyface promos as fans are fully behind him now. Fans want to see Adam Page finally defeat Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship as well.

While speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about Adam Page possibly winning the AEW World Championship. Ray said that he believes Adam Page needs more heat in the angle before he can win the title.

“I would say to stick with Kenny right now. That’s just my own personal opinion. I’m not gonna say if Tony decides to switch it’s the wrong decision, or this or that. Listen, booking is all about feel also. There are Xs and Os that go with it but it’s also all about feel.

Do I feel it’s the right time for Hangman? I’m gonna say in nine days? No. I would like to see Kenny get more heat on Hangman or them come up with a way to get more heat on Hangman.”

Jim Cornette also previously said that CM Punk should be the AEW World Champion instead of Adam Page. We will have to wait and see if AEW truly will pull the trigger on Adam Page and have him defeat Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship or not at AEW Full Gear on November 13th.

h/t to SEScoops for the quotes.
