Rob Van Dam has always been free spirit. The former WWE and ECW champion was one of wrestling’s earliest activists for cannabis in the 90’s, which was far less accepted by the mainstream at the time. The WWE Hall of Famer does what he wants when he wants. It’s all a part of his famous laid-back attitude.

Yesterday, RVD shared some of that lifestyle with his followers on Instagram. Standing on what appears to be a yacht, Van Dam poses above five women in bikinis on all fours twerking.

“When people ask what I do with my free time”

Pro wrestler Katie Forbes was one of the women featured in the clip. She is the romantic partner of Rob Van Dam. He also tagged Jayla Cooper, a travel nurse, in the video. Instagram model and business owner Masadi Ali and fitness instructor Jasmine Walker rounded out the group of twerkers. He also tagged a swimwear brand and a travel company in the video.

In the top reply, The Godfather gave RVD an emoji-assisted round of applause. The video has gained over 130,000 views. It appears Rob Van Dam is still cool to a lot of people, as long as he’s living his best life.

Rob Van Dam rose to stardom in ECW in the mid-to-late 1990s. The Battle Creek, Michigan native even defeated John Cena to win the WWE title at ECW One Night Stand in 2006. The big win was supposed to launch RVD as the leader of the relaunched brand, but a drug arrest with Sabu ended the push and likely the future of ECW as a WWE brand.

Van Dam has enjoyed multiple successful stints with WWE in addition to his formative work in ECW. He also spent several years as a top talent in Impact Wrestling during the TNA era. He briefly returned to Impact in 2019. RVD was ultimately chosen as an inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame.
