WWE loves every good merchandising opportunity that comes their way. It makes sense since they are a publicly traded company that has to please their investors before anything else.

According to a press release from WWE, the company has a new trading card partner. WWE previously had a similar deal with industry leader Topps. Now, they will be doing business with Panini starting in 2022.

The first product release in the partnership will be the 2022 WWE Prizm line. The cards will coincide with the buildup to WrestleMania in Dallas.

The cards will be available at large retailers like Target and Walmart. Local hobby stores and online retailers will also offer WWE fans the collectables. Panini America CEO Mark Warsop hyped the new partnership.

“We have always been intrigued by WWE as a license partner and their fans’ incredible passion. Our entire team is looking forward to adding WWE, a truly iconic license, to our roster of exclusive partners. We have big plans for our WWE portfolio and the new heights we can help WWE trading cards and stickers reach in the collectibles arena.”

Panini has been in the sports and entertainment collectible business for 60 years and have a worldwide presence. The new partnership aims to help both brands grow their growing collectibles business around the world.
