Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He is also never afraid to give advice to his peers whenever needed. It seems he doesn’t have a good opinion about Sami Zayn.

On the other hand, Sami Zayn went through a huge change in character over the past year, as he went from babyface to a conniving heel. His current gimmick sees him as a conspiracy theorist who thinks WWE is out to get him at every opportunity. Zayn is also hell-bent on finishing up his documentary and show the world that he never lied in the first place.

Drew McIntyre made his debut on Friday Night Smackdown this week, as he issued an open challenge. Sami Zayn answered the challenge and McIntyre made short work of Sami Zayn.

While speaking during Talking Smack after the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown, Drew McIntyre talked about his match against Sami Zayn. Drew McIntyre stated that Sami Zayn is the most annoying man on the planet.

“I went out there and issued an open challenge, and Sami Zayn accepted. I mean, Sami is a guy that I remember for a long time thinking, what a great wrestler, and how sympathetic is this guy? He does not have a bad bone in his body. Fast forward to 2021, more specifically tonight, where he is the most annoying man on planet earth. And me, everyone in the locker room, my dad, my dad’s friend, his dog, his dog’s sister’s cousin’s uncle; none of us can stand Sami Zayn, and we are all very happy, I’m sure, that I kicked his head almost off his body.”

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Drew McIntyre now that he is on Friday Night Smackdown. McIntyre previously made it clear he is far from done with Roman Reigns as well.
