Hit Row made their debut on SmackDown this week and plenty of fans were excited to see them emerge on the blue brand. They had a tag team match where Swerve Scott and Top Dolla represented the stable, but there was a reason why Ashante Thee Adonis stayed out of the action.

WWE made change to the Hit Row stable where Top Dolla is now the singles star and their leader. He still competed in that tag team match where the former football player had a chance to show off his power.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Ashante Thee Adonis has “a medical condition.” No further information was given, but that situation is keeping him out of the ring.

Ashante Thee Adonis has a medical condition, so he’s not wrestling, but he was there.

It wasn’t noted exactly what is going on with Ashante Thee Adonis, but the fact that WWE still included him as a part of Hit Row is a good sign. The company could have always pulled him from the stable as they have made many alterations to NXT talent in the past.

Hopefully, Ashante Thee Adonis will be able to get over whatever is keeping him out of action so he can show SmackDown what he is capable of.
