Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch had a backstage confrontation after SmackDown. Their relationship has been strained for a while now, ever since Lynch called Flair “plastic” in a promo years ago. Then things came to a boiling point on Wichita.

PW Insider has confirmed that there is zero heat on Becky Lynch because of this situation. It was Flair who instigated things as she pulled the title away from Lynch, a move that some backstage feel made The Man look stupid.

The situation didn’t get physical as both parties blew off steam and had a shouting match. Lynch was the one who confronted Flair backstage, but it was only after The Queen pulled that move during the segment that was not rehearsed or even suggested to talent. In the end, the locker room is behind Becky Lynch.

There is no heat on Lynch as it was seen as she was pushed to a boiling point, leading to her confronting Flair.  Had it gotten physical, it may have been seen different but after, it was seen within the locker room as Lynch standing her ground and protecting herself after being pushed too far.

It should also be noted that Ringside News reported on October 19th that there were people on the SmackDown side who were not thrilled about swapping Becky for Charlotte.

Charlotte Flair was asked to leave the arena before Becky Lynch finished with her dark match. They didn’t want another run-in backstage. There is a lot of heat on Charlotte Flair right now, but it’s not confirmed that this situation was the cause of Andrade’s “FU WWE” tweet.
