WWE just completed another draft and some fans were worried about the placement of their favorite Superstars. Those fans who had a question about where Roman Reigns would end up shouldn’t have worried, especially if they wanted him to stay on SmackDown.

Bleacher Report recently spoke to the Tribal Chief where he set the record straight about the draft. He made it clear that there was no consideration about him going to RAW. After all, FOX invests a lot of money into SmackDown and they wanted him to stick around.

“I don’t think it was a hope; it was more of a demand. What we’re doing and the character falls very closely to real life with us and what we do, and I don’t think Fox would have had it any other way. They’ve invested a lot of money, and they want the very best representing their network, and who better to do it for WWE than me? Because I’m in the thick of it, because I’ve put in all this work on the blue side for SmackDown, it would have felt really weird to just be uprooted and try to transition it to Raw. And this is coming from a Raw guy.”

We’ll have to see what happens in the months to come. Roman Reigns is slated to appear on RAW when they roll into the UBS Arena in November. He has also frequented RAW in recent memory to further the Bloodline’s dominance. You can never say never in WWE, but it doesn’t appear that FOX will let Roman Reigns go without a fight.
