Adam Cole left NXT after the conclusion of NXT TakeOver 36, where he lost to Kyle O’Reilly, bringing an end to their feud. Right after that, Adam Cole’s WWE contract also expired and thus he became a free agent. It seems Britt Baker helped Adam Cole in a huge way.

Adam Cole decided to shock the world as he debuted at AEW All Out last month and he couldn’t be happier. This is especially due to the fact that he is in the same company as his girlfriend AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.

The Panama City Playboy and Britt Baker have been together for quite a while now. However, it was not smooth sailing at first at all. Adam Cole also spruced up his appearance in AEW and it seems he has Britt Baker to thank for that.

While speaking to Bleacher Report, Adam Cole talked about Britt Baker helping improve his appearance in AEW. Cole stated that he decided to get a ring jacket after seeing how Britt Baker always looks great.

“Britt always has this top-of-the-line, excellent gear consistently, whether it’s this awesome, flashy new ring jacket, or new gear, and she always looks like a million bucks. And for me, I’ve always been someone that kind of liked the stuff that I wore, but it was more traditional.

I am just going to wear some trunks, maybe wear a T-shirt. After watching her and seeing how much of a superstar that she looked like, I’m like ‘OK, I think I’m going to get a ring jacket and I’m gonna start changing up my appearance a little bit more.’ I think that’s a huge part of her appeal and her presentation. So watching her kind of develop that habit of getting new stuff all the time is something I’m going to start to implement. And that would not have been in my brain if it wasn’t for Britt.”

Adam Cole also previously made it clear that he would love to engage in a program with Britt Baker. It remains to be seen if the two will eventually get involved in a storyline or not in AEW.
