Start time for SmackDown is 8:00 PM EST in a special episode that will air on Fox Sports 1 and will have an extra 30 minutes added to the show which WWE has advertised as being commercial free. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s SmackDown is set to feature an appearance by Brock Lesnar. SmackDown will also feature SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch takes on Sasha Banks in a non title match.

Tonight will continue with both the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments. Tonight we will see semi final match ups as Finn Balor goes against Sami Zayn. Carmella takes on Zelina Vega in a semi final match up for the Queen’s Crown tournament.

SmackDown

SmackDown begins live with Edge making his way out to the ring as a video package is aired detailing the vicious feud between Edge and Seth Rollins that has been going on. Edge grabs a mic and said it all started seven years ago when Rollins tried to use Edge as a stepping stone. Edge said this was once about the Universal Championship, but it is now way more than that. Edge said that he should have seen this coming, as it is “straight out of his play book”. Edge admits that he underestimated Rollins, Edge says him and Rollins are so much alike that they know exactly how to take advantage of their mistakes. Edge says Rollins is the only guy who matches the intensity and passion that Edge shows in the ring. Edge finally admits Rollins is more than Edge lite, as Edge gives the promo, Rollins can be seen watching from backstage. Edge says if he does not end this then both of their families will suffer, and Edge will leave Rollins a husk of the man everyone sees now. Edge says he will not hesitate to take out Rollins and that their story will end inside Hell in a Cell. Edge tells Rollins to listen closely as he tells Rollins that he will scar Rollins’ soul and will give a scar Rollins will never heal from.

Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn

Our King of the Ring tournament semi final match begins with a lock up. Zayn hits a big elbow and drags Balor’s face across the ropes. Zayn hits a knife-edge chop. Balor rolls out of a sunset flip to hit a basement drop kick. Zayn hits a lariat and covers for two. Zayn covers two more times quickly and Balor kicks out at two both times. Balor throws Zayn over the top rope and Balor follows up with a dive to the outside.

*Commercial break*

The match continues live with Zayn bouncing Balor’s head off the turnbuckle. Balor counters with a kick to the mid section. Zayn hits a right hand and Balor hits a Pele kick. Zayn slams Balor off the ropes and Zayn goes to the top rope but Balor meets him and goes for a superplex but Zayn knocks him down with a headbutt. Zayn mocks Balor’s top rope pose and Zayn goes for a dive but Balor hits a drop kick and covers for two. zayn hits a blue thunder bomb and gets a two count. Zayn hits an exploder suplex to the corner. Balor dodges the Helluva kick and Balor goes to the top rope but Zayn pulls him down and Zayn goes for a cover but the referee spots Zayn’s feet on the ropes and stops the count. Zayn argues with the ref and Balor hits a slingblade. Balor goes for the Coup de Grace but Zayn avoids it and gets a roll up for a two count. Balor hits a drop kick to send Zayn into the corner. Balor goes up top and hits the Coup de Grace and covers for the three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

SmackDown returns with a promo video for Drew McIntyre and then the new SmackDown roster after the draft is shown.

A video package is shown detailing Paul Heyman’s recent involvement in the Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar feud. The video shows Heyman’s long history with Lesnar but shows that now Heyman says he is only with Reigns and is no longer associated with Lesnar.

Naomi stands in the ring ready for her match as Deville comes out to the ring, dressed in non ring attire. Deville says that Naomi will be in a match, but it will be Naomi vs Sonya Deville, and Shayna Baszler.

Naomi vs Sonya Deville & Shayna Baszler

Our newly made handicap match begins with Deville taking a cheap shot at Naomi, Naomi strikes down Baszler and chases Deville around the outside and Baszler ambushes Naomi back in the ring. Baszler holds Naomi in place as Deville repeatedly punches Naomi in the mid section. Naomi breaks free and hits a kick to Baszler’s head. Naomi tries to go to the top but Deville holds her foot. Baszler locks in the kirafuda clutch and Naomi passes out, Baszler releases Naomi and Deville makes the cover with one foot on Naomi for the three count.

Winners: Sonya Deville & Shayna Baszler

SmackDown returns with Seth Rollins in the ring. Rollins soaks in the heat from the crowd for a few moments before laughing and saying that Edge tried to convince himself that he has any chance against Rollins at Crown Jewel. Rollins says that he is in no way intimidated or afraid to face Edge in Hell in a Cell. Rollins says that hell has already frozen over, Edge finally said that he was wrong, and that Rollins is not Edge lite. Rollins says that Edge has finally come around to Rollins being better than Edge in every possible way. Rollins says he has out-manipulated Edge. Rollins says he’s going in with the mental advantage and the physical advantage. Rollins says Edge has an ace up his sleeve, Hell in a Cell. Rollins says that he will say one more time, slowly, that Rollins is in no way intimidated or afraid to face Edge in Hell in a Cell. Rollins says that him and Edge are a lot alike like Edge said earlier, Rollins says there’s one difference, Rollins has spent more time in the Hell in a Cell, and he knows what it does to people. Rollins says he has already been scared by Hell in a Cell. Rollins says the fairy tale does end at Crown Jewel, but not the way Edge thinks.

Carmella and Zelina Vega are seen backstage. Vega thanks Carmella for taking out Liv Morgan, and Vega says her and Carmella are much better than Morgan and Toni Storm. Vega says that Carmella does not have to wear her protective face mask and that she intends to make this a clean match.

Carmella vs Zelina Vega

Our Queen’s Crown tournament semi final match begins with Carmella going for an immediate roll up for two. Carmella locks in an armbar. Vega escapes with an arm drag. Carmella hits a kick to Vega’s face and Vega responds by repeatedly striking Carmella in the face. Carmella rolls outside to try to get her protective face mask on. Outside Liv Morgan is shown holding the mask. Carmella is scared off and runs back into the ring and Vega gets a roll up for three.

Winner: Zelina Vega

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss make their way out for the Happy Talk show taking place up next.

Back live with Corbin and Moss in the ring. Corbin welcomes his guest, Madcap Moss. Moss makes a terrible joke ending with a pun that makes the crowd boo very loudly. Corbin calls out Kevin Owens and Corbin and Moss laugh hysterically about Owens being laid out on last week’s SmackDown. Moss is interrupted by Rick Boogs who introduces Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and plays Nakamura out to ringside. With Nakamura and Boogs on stage they are joined by The Street Profits and Boogs plays their theme on guitar as our tag team championship street fight is coming up next.

SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Street Fight: The Usos vs The Street profits

Our championship match begins with all four men in the ring and an all out brawl immediately begins. Dawkins hits a neck breaker and Dawkins and Jey fight on the outside. The Usos double team Ford in the ring and Jey covers for two. The Usos team up on Dawkins on the outside and throw him to the barricade. Ford hits a huge dive over the top ropes to take out both Usos and land on his feet. Street Profits bring out a table but before they can set it up both Usos hit a tope suicida to take out the Street Profits.

SmackDown returns with Jimmy and Dawkins in the ring. On the outside Jey grabs a kendo stick and tosses it to Jimmy. Jey grabs a second kendo stick and the two take turns hitting Dawkins in the ring. The Usos hits Dawkins at the same time and cover for two. After the two count the Usos strike Dawkins with the kendo stick several times each. Ford hits a cross body to take out both Usos. Ford grabs a steel chair and throws it to Jimmy who catches it for Ford to kick Jimmy in the face with the chair. Jey runs in but is met with a super kick from Ford. Dawkins and Ford meet in the ring and Dawkins grabs a kendo stick and hits Jey as Ford grabs a chair and hits Jey. the Usos hit a double super kick to Ford and then a double super kick to Dawkins and Jimmy covers Dawkins for two. The Usos climb to the top of opposite corners. Ford pulls Jey down and kicks Jimmy in the face. Ford hits the frog splash and covers but Jey breaks up the pin. Jey slams Ford through a table on the outside. Dawkins is hit with a right hand from Jey and a super kick from Jimmy before getting a double super kick. The Usos go up top and hit double frog splashes for the cover and the three count.

Winners: The Usos

Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks

Before the match begins Bianca Belair makes her way out to ringside and joins commentary. The match starts off with a lock up. Lynch avoids the double knees from Banks and Lynch gets a roll up for a one count. Lynch tries the Disarmer but banks escapes and slams Lynch into the corner. Banks hits a double knee drop to Lynch in the corner and covers for two. Lynch hits a leg drop and stares down Belair from inside the ring. Banks and Lynch fight on the apron, Lynch dodges and Banks hits both knees on the ring post. Lynch throws Banks to the outside and the ref begins to count Banks out, but Banks makes it back in at 9. Lynch hits a leg sweep and follows with a bulldog to cover and get a two count. Banks hits the three amigos suplexes and covers for two. Lynch throws Banks shoulder first to the ring post. Lynch licks in the disarmer using the ring ropes and breaks the hold at the ref’s 4 count. Lynch dives off the top to hit a guillotine leg drop on Banks off the middle rope and covers for two. Banks slams Lynch’s arm off the ring post and hits the double knees to the ring post and then hits it again inside the ring. Banks hits it once more off the top rope and gets a two count from the cover. Lynch and Banks fight on the top rope and Banks dodges the dive and hits a back stabber. Lynch rolls outside and Banks tries a sunset flip powerbomb off the apron but Lynch manages to counter with a leg drop. Banks manages to lock in the bank statement on the outside and Lynch taps out, however it does not count outside the ring. Banks hits the frog splash and covers for two. Lynch hits an uppercut in the corner and follows with a running forearm. Banks hits the double knees in the corner and Lynch catches and hits the exlpoder suplex and covers but Banks gets a rope break with her foot on the bottom rope. Lynch goes for a leg drop but Banks rolls outside. Banks goes for a tornado DDT, Lynch escapes and goes for Banks but “accidentally” hits Belair with a right hand. Back in the ring Lynch avoids the frog splash. Lynch goes for the disarmer but Banks blocks it and rolls through. Banks goes for a back slide but Lynch avoids it and hits an uppercut. Banks locks in the bank statement in the ring but lynch is able to crawl to the ropes. Belair hits Lynch with her hair braid as the ref is distracted and banks hits the back stabber and covers for three.

Winner: Sasha Banks

Immediately after the match ends Adam Pearce instructs the ring crew to quickly set up the ring for the contract signing for Lesnar and Reigns. After it is all set up Universal Champion Roman Reigns makes his way out to the ring with Paul Heyman with him. Brock Lesnar’s music hits and Lesnar makes his way out to the ring for the contract signing. Lesnar and reigns stare down in the ring as Lesnar has a big grin on his face. Reigns picks up the contract and hands it to Heyman. Heyman reads over the contract and hands a pen to Reigns, Heyman tells Reigns the contract is everything Reigns requested and Reigns signs the contract. pearce hands the contract to Lesnar and Lesnar very casually signs it and throws the contract on the table. Reigns calls Lesnar “a big dumb farmer” and laughs that Lesnar didn’t read the contract. Lesnar says he already read the contract this morning, with his advocate Paul Heyman. Lesnar leaves the ring as Reigns stands appearing very confused and conflicted about what Lesnar said.
