In the end, Big E cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley and defeated him for the WWE Championship, thus ushering in the new era of Monday Night RAW.
Both John Cena and Roman Reigns cemented themselves as top champions in the company and many fans wonder how well Big E will fare as the WWE Champion, comparing him to Cena and Reigns.
While speaking with Daily Star, Big E stated that he has no intention of ever becoming a copycat of Roman Reigns and John Cena.
“I have no desire to be anyone else but me – I never want to be a Cena copycat or a Roman copycat. I feel like it’s very early in, but I feel like it is working and going well, and I want to keep it up.”
It remains to be seen how Big E’s reign as WWE Champion will be booked in the coming months, as many fans want him to have a long and fulfilling reign as the champion.
