Shane McMahon’s Current WWE Contract Status

Shane McMahon frequented WWE television for another run after he took a long hiatus from his father’s company. He was also host of RAW Underground, the company’s gritty weekly fight club type segment. Then fear of cross contamination caused the company to nix the segment.

McMahon recently took new gig as executive chairman for Ideanomics. Rumors recently spread that he might have even more free time on his hands, because Wrestling Inc’s Raj Gigi heard that he might not be with the company anymore.

According toFightful, they reached out to inquire about the rumor that Shane McMahon is no longer with WWE. They received a response that confirmed he remains under a talent contract. So, Shane-O Mac can still return to television if Vince McMahon needs him.

Fightful had recently heard that Shane McMahon was no longer with the company. However, when we inquired with WWE reps, we were told he was “still a WWE talent and under a deal.”

We will have to wait and see if and when Shane McMahon returns to television. Shane McMahon typically brings some good viewership numbers, because fans are generally entertained by him. He has not left his father’s company once again, even though he is very busy outside of Vince McMahon’s walls.
