Arn Anderson has led Cody Rhodes to the ring since he arrived in AEW. This week saw a big crossroads for their relationship. It seems that Double A might have grown tired of Cody’s ongoing obsession with Malakai Black.

Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson were able to win their tag team match this week, but it was thanks to Johnson. After showing some extra intensity, Lee Johnson tagged himself in and got the pinfall.

Following their match, Cody Rhodes called out Malakai Black, but then Arn Anderson had something to say about that. Anderson went off on Rhodes for calling out Black, a man who has picked the Nightmare Family off one by one. This is when Anderson made a shocking statement.

Then Arn Anderson said that he doesn’t coach losers before he took off. The Enforcer also told Lee Johnson to follow him, because “at least he listens.” We will have to see what comes next in this angle, but it appears that Cody Rhodes and Arn Anderson’s relationship is certainly strained.
