Bryan Danielson’s accolades as a professional wrestler certainly need no introductions as they proved to be one of the best in the business. Danielson’s debut in AEW is considered one of the most impactful debuts in recent memory as well.

Bryan Danielson ultimately chose to make his way to AEW as he simply loves pro wrestling too much and doesn’t care about the business side of things in the company

Danielson came to the company to be the best version of himself and kick heads in, instead of simply putting over young talents.

While speaking to the Sports Illustrated media podcast, Bryan Danielson stated that wrestlers are allowed to be “a little bit more violent” in AEW and that he plans on being more intense and violent in general.

“Well, I’ve already used the s-h-i-t word on TV, but I think it’s all circumstantial. I don’t look forward to using curse words, but the one thing that I do look forward to doing is not having to worry about PG in the sense of the actual wrestling. You can just get a little bit more intense and a little bit, I hate to use the word ‘violent’, but a little bit more violent in AEW. And I think in wrestling, sometimes that’s called for. When you have the big grudge match, people want to see that. I think one thing in WWE is when you start doing the Hell in the Cell matches, there’s no blood or whatever it is. I’m excited for that.”

Bryan Danielson had a match of the year candidate against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. It remains to be seen if the two will face off against each other in the future or not.
