Mick Foley Says WWE Storylines Should Work On Maintaining Continuity

Mick Foley is one of the most critical people when it comes to analyzing WWE. He even criticized WWE when they cut Zelina Vega off from WWE SmackDown before 9/11.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to criticizing WWE at Pro Wrestling 4 Life w/ Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. He talked about his recent upload on YouTube “WWE – We Have A Problem.” He said that WWE has tremendous pool of talent but can’t keep track of all the nuances they implement in their storylines from time to time.

I want [WWE] to go with their best hand, going with their best hands means portraying their characters in their best light and I just don’t think they’re doing that.

Foley was asked about what was the cause of these storylines getting ripped and what can he do to improve it, he said that Vince McMahon‘s constant move to completely reiterating them in his ways.

So I know Vince thinks he works his best under pressure but you can’t have continuity that way. I think you need to gather around who your big stars are, how you’re gonna push them, and they do, in some ways, they do an amazing job with a handful of people. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Damian Priest — they do a lot of things well. But I just think they need to pay attention to continuity. They need to go back to big picture thinking, outside of just the WrestleMania main event, and they need to let the talent be as good as it can be.
