Heat On Mick Foley Within WWE Over His Warning About AEW

Mick Foley dropped video that got a ton of attention. He warned WWE that they have a problem with AEW. That caused Foley’s name to trend and he certainly noticed that as well. Those in WWE apparently saw this video as well, and they weren’t thrilled.

During the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian revealed that some people in WWE weren’t happy about what Mick Foley said at all. This came after Foley expressed his desire to see the best pro wrestling and he also criticized the booking of guys like Karrion Kross and Keith Lee in the process.

“I can tell you that people are very unhappy in WWE that he put that video out.”

Zarian said that there is an “unwritten rule” within WWE that the legends shouldn’t disparage the company. That is exactly what Mick Foley seemingly did as he warned that WWE has a problem with AEW.

We will have to see if Mick Foley gets invited to any RAW Reunion shows in the future. If he has a segment where Randy Orton humbles him then we wouldn’t be 100% shocked.
