Eddie Kingston made his AEW debut back in July of last year, where he faced off against Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship. While he was unsuccessful in the match, Kingston impressed many and signed with the company.

Kingston quickly cemented himself as one of the best talkers in AEW as his promos are known to be from the heart and very natural. He is also very passionate when it comes to the pro wrestling world.

After the conclusion of this week’s episode of AEW Rampage Grand Slam, Eddie Kingston decided to take a shot at WWE as he declared New York as AEW’s town in a very passionate promo.

“Before certain people got here we sold this mother out,” Kingston said. “And we put our flag down in New York in dirt. But with those people (CM Punk, Daniel Bryan) that just joined us, we’ve retook our flag and put it in cement. New York is now AEW’s town!”
