Big E Says He’s The Right Person To Retire ‘Old Yeller’ Goldberg

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially making a name for himself during WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past. He was also unable to defeat Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam last month.

Many fans are simply tired of seeing Goldberg despite his limited time on WWE television and it seems Big E has a very interesting idea about Goldberg.

While speaking with Hot 97 radio, WWE Champion Big E stated that he would be the right person to bring an end to Goldberg’s in-ring career for good.

“Well, who better to retire him? Who better to take him out to pasture, take Old Yeller behind the barn? We’ll see. I just feel like I would be the right person to send them on home, give him his walking cane, and say, ‘Thank you for your service.’”

It is not known whether WWE will ever have plans for Big E to square off against Goldberg and end his in-ring career or not. Should it happen, perhaps Big E might be the right person to do it.
