Bryan Danielson established himself as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time thanks to his incredible in-ring prowess and competing in various promotions all around the world. Danielson’s debut in AEW remains one of the most memorable in the company so far.

Danielson wasn’t the only high-profile signing for AEW as CM Punk made his debut on last month’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance. Many fans started wondering if Punk and Bryan would ever engage in a program now that they are in AEW.

Earlier this month, CM Punk had stated that he wants to team up with Bryan Danielson and square off against The Young Bucks in AEW.

While speaking on ESPN SportsNation, Bryan Danielson talked about CM Punk and himself working in AEW together, stating that it was inevitable. He then said that it would be awesome to team up with Punk and face The Young Bucks in AEW.

“It just felt inevitable, it felt like destiny that this would happen. Our journeys were so similar, we both traveled through such difficult roads to get to where we are and it just seemed like magic. I wrote in my book that it makes me sad that that will most likely never happen, and then now here we are in 2021 and it’s a real possibility. I had heard him say in an interview recently that I hadn’t even thought of but it’s not just me against CM Punk, it’s teaming with CM Punk. He had said something about maybe me and him against The Young Bucks and I was like oh my God, that would be awesome.”

We will have to wait and see if CM Punk and Bryan Danielson will eventually team up together and feud with the Young Bucks, as fans would love to see that happen.
