WWE’s NXT brand is still changing as fans settle into NXT 2.0. They are allowing more profanity and fans saw some of that this week. All of those changes for the brand were not limited to just using dirty words.

According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE nixed a backstage segment for NXT 2.0 this week. They did include an in-ring segment at the beginning of the show where newer male Superstars were introduced, but a segment for the women hit the cutting room floor.

There were some plans that did change ahead of the show. We’re told several newer female recruits were planned for a backstage segment that was eventually nixed.

We’ll have to see if NXT 2.0 features new women next week. They might introduce them in bulk or just decide to even things out each week by bringing a bringing a couple new faces to television each week.
