Bryan Danielson made a name for himself all over the world, including promotions such as Ring Of Honor where he was regarded as one of the best in the promotion’s history. Danielson’s debut in AEW is considered one of the most impactful debuts in recent memory as well.

Danielson had quite a different character in WWE as most fans are used to seeing the character he portrayed for so many years in WWE. It is evident that Danielson will be bringing back his ‘American Dragon’ character in AEW as well.

While speaking to Barstool Rasslin’, Bryan Danielson was asked about potentially changing his in-ring style and character in AEW. Danielson stated fans will be surprised by the level of violence he will show and also his character in AEW.

“It will be interesting to see because I had to adapt to the WWE style. I created something I didn’t do before, and made it into the character of Daniel Bryan, who was essentially an underdog character. I don’t know. People may be a bit surprised by the violence because that’s one of the things differentiating between Bryan Danielson and how I was before, and Daniel Bryan. That’s actually one of the things that really helped me in WWE – being a small person”.
