CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut on last month’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance, move that created a lot of buzz for the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.

Punk himself absolutely loved his AEW debut and he has singlehandedly became the most talked-about pro wrestler on the planet right now, much to the delight of Mick Foley.

The Second City Saint also made it clear that he came to AEW because he loves pro wrestling again and that he wants to put over the young generation of AEW talents in a big way.

While speaking to WrestleTalk, Ricky Starks stated that fans will get to see another side of him when he eventually classes with CM Punk inside the squared circle.

“I don’t know for certain, I know that Punk is dealing with Will Hobbs and I know that Punk vs Hobbs is gonna happen on Rampage so I think his hands are pretty full. Down the line, for sure I can see it happening. I don’t see why not. In fact, once that does happen, you’ll see another side of me that most people haven’t seen yet and I think that’s pretty cool.”

Ricky Starks also gave props to CM Punk for always giving constructive criticism backstage in AEW.
