Ricky Starks Considers Himself An AEW Homegrown Talent

Ricky Starks is a very talented pro wrestler and has a bright future ahead of him in AEW. He is currently the FTW Champion and is one of the mainstays of AEW television. He is also never afraid to speak his mind when needed.

He is also is constantly compared to The Rock, fact which surprises him. Especially when it comes to the way he dresses and his mannerisms and promo skills. The comparisons are certainly plausible according to many.

Before making his debut in AEW last year, Ricky Starks worked for the National Wrestling Alliance where he improved his craft as a pro wrestler. He even won the NWA World Television Championship. Many consider him homegrown NWA talent but it seems Starks thinks differently.

Ricky Starks took to Twitter and declared that he considers himself a homegrown AEW talent and not NWA.

Ricky Starks is currently feuding with Brian Cage and Starks also made it clear that he is open to squaring off against CM Punk in AEW as well. We will have to wait and see when Starks and Punk will cross paths.
