MVP suffered a kayfabe broken rib at the hands of Randy Orton, so he took this opportunity to get a surgery taken care of that has been giving him trouble for a while.

After WWE broke the news of his rib injury, MVP tweeted out that he will use this time to get surgery on his knee. That apparently happened already and now he is resting up.

Dave Meltzer reported on F4WOnline that MVP had his surgery and that means he will be out of action for a while.

MVP had knee surgery this week so he’ll be out of action for a while.

It was not noted exactly how long MVP will be out of action, but this certainly seems to put a damper on hopes of the Hurt Business getting their stable back together. MVP could always return and walk with a cane once again, but that injury is real and likely means he can’t walk on it for a while.
