AEW studies all of the numbers and Tony Khan wants to make sure his company is on the right track. This led TK to discover some very interesting facts about his fan base.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up an interview with Tony Khan where he shared some new stats about AEW fans. They are usually the youngest-skewing sports program on television, but that’s not all.

On average, AEW fans also have more money than WWE fans. They are also more likely to have a college education.

“One of them is that they’re the youngest-skewing wrestling show on television and he noted that on most weeks they’re the youngest-skewing sports show on television. Many weeks they are, it’s them or soccer. During the NBA season there are weeks when it’s the NBA. It’s mostly NBA, AEW and international soccer.”

“The other is that the AEW is the most affluent in median income, median family income, and also it’s the highest percentage of college educated audience. People can get mad at that one too.”

WWE has a ton of fans and that saturation in the general public might skew their numbers a little further down. Still, it is very interesting to know that AEW’s fan base seem to be educated and have a bit more money, on average, than fans who watch Vince McMahon’s company.
