WWE planned for a big show at NXT 2.0 this week, but one big match didn’t happen on the show. Raquel Gonzalez was set to defend her title against Franky Monet, but that didn’t happen. The reason for this change remains a mystery.

According to a note fromFightful, Franky Monet was in the building for NXT this week. It was not noted if Gonzalez was around, but there is still no reason for their match getting pulled.

There has yet to be a reason given for Raquel Gonzalez vs. Franky Monet being pulled, but WWE knew as of Monday morning. Franky Monet was at the venue on Tuesday night.

WWE did air a hype video package for Raquel Gonzalez this week on NXT. There was also no mention made of a future match between Gonzalez and Monet during the show. We’ll have to see if they end up running that match eventually.
