AEW saw the debut of both Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole at All Out, but the latter was the biggest surprise. It was already reported that Bryan Danielson was set to debut at the September 5th show, but Cole’s name was never reported to debut.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Adam Cole detailed the lengths he went through to keep his AEW debut a secret. He flew into a different city the day before All Out and drove to Chicago. He also made sure not to even stay at the same hotel as Bryan Danielson and they arrived separately as well.

“I didn’t even fly into Chicago, I flew into a different city the day before. I didn’t even stay in the same hotel as Bryan [Danielson]. We showed up to the building while the show was going on, and we waited outside in a trailer. The locker room didn’t even know until the absolute last moment. It was the most secretive debut I’ve ever been involved in, and Tony Khan took every measure to make this as big of a surprise as possible.”

Adam Cole is set to make his in-ring debut for AEW tonight. He will face “The Elite Hunter” Frankie Kazarian, and we can only imagine what else AEW has in store for the former NXT Champion. They won’t have to hide him anymore, because everyone knows that Adam Cole is now All Elite.
