Gable Steveson just inked deal with WWE, and there is a lot of push for him to do big things. They are setting up a remote training facility so he can learn the ropes while attending the University of Minnesota. He might even skip NXT and make a jump straight to the main roster.

Dave Meltzer noted on F4Wonline that there is already talk of Steveson taking on Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate is Steveson’s mentor and the two trained together on several occasions. Apparently, that match is already a goal within the company.

“it’s already been teased and talked about that (Brock) Lesnar would eventually wrestle him in a passing-of-the-torch type moment at a WrestleMania.”

Brock Lesnar’s new WWE contract is a light one, and Steveson is expected to start full-time with WWE in 2022. We will have to see if their paths cross, but you never know when Lesnar will ink a deal for more matches as Vince McMahon offers him even more cash.
