WWE was able to lock Gable Steveson into contract. This is a huge get for WWE, because Vince McMahon went all out to snag the Olympic Gold Medalist. Steveson is exclusive to WWE, but he won’t join the company right away, instead, he will continue with the University of Minnesota.

According to ESPN, WWE is making incredibly special considerations to train Steveson. The company inked Gable Steveson to a multi-year deal, and they are also going above and beyond to make sure he can train in pro wrestling yet continue with the University of Minnesota.

They will set up a remote training facility for Steveson near campus where he’ll learn the finer points of in-ring work with WWE coaches

Steveson will also have access to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. We’ll have to see how long it takes to work Gable Steveson into the company’s television storylines, but they are making incredible considerations to make things as easy as possible for Gable Steveson to continue training in everything he needs to do right now.
