WWE had dreams of take women’s wresting to Saudi Arabia, something they planned a few times, but were unable to accomplish until Natalya and Lacey Evans made company history. WWE is planning another trip back to Saudi Arabia and they are not going to leave the women out of the event this time either.

The Queen of the Ring tournament, or something called the Queen’s Crown Tournament, is coming soon. Fightful Select was able to confirm Mat Men Pro Wrestling’s report and add that the company feels as though they have broken the barrier when it comes to promoting women’s wrestling in the country.

WWE sources indicated that they don’t feel as if promoting women’s matches in Saudi Arabi will be a hurdle now that they’ve “broken the barrier.”

WWE had to go a long time without touring and their Saudi Arabia plans were pushed back. Any events they miss will be tacked onto the end of the company’s decade-long deal with the controversial country. We will have to see who is wearing the crowns when everything is said and done in Saudi.
