Bryan Danielson’s accolades helped cement himself as one of the all-time greats in the pro wrestling business. Danielson made his debut at AEW All Out, which was one of the most highly anticipated debuts in recent memory.

After Bryan’s WWE contract expired a few months ago, many fans wondered where he would go next. Danielson had previously mentioned his desire to wrestle in other pro wrestling companies.

While speaking during the post-All Out media conference, Danielson revealed that he wants to work outside of AEW, especially in NJPW and Mexico. Unfortunately, he added that it won’t be happening anytime soon due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

”We’re in a weird situation. I mean I would love love love love love to go wrestle in New Japan. But with COVID being what it is right now, I can’t quarantine for two weeks to go do a couple shows, man I just can’t do it. I’d love to wrestle in Mexico but I don’t know if it’s the safest thing in the world for me right now.”

Despite that, Bryan Danielson made it clear that he came to AEW to kick young stars’ heads in and it will be interesting to see how his first few months in the company will be booked.
