WWE is in super cost cutting mode. Those efforts to trim the bottom line go all the way to catering, and the company recent made a big move in the UK. The company is dissolving their WWE UK HOLDINGS LTD, but that does not spell an end for the NXT UK brand.

The company will dissolve their WWE UK HOLDINGS LTD on September 7th. That Holdings group was established in July, 2019. Despite this move in the UK, NXT UK Director Jim Smallwood assured fans through an Instagram comment that the brand is not closing their doors.

“I mean as I’m the creative director of NXT UK I can categorically tell you it’s not shutting down. WWE UK Holdings (which I presume you’re referring to) is nothing to do with NXT UK.”

We will have to see what is in the company’s future. They seem to be making a lot of moves at the sake of cutting costs. Hopefully, NXT UK can continue, because they have a ton of talent in that often overlooked brand.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
