WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him role. Angle also revealed the ridiculous amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match.

Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches as he faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.

During his retirement tour in 2019, Kurt Angle wanted to face off against Daniel Bryan but due to being on different brands, it simply wasn’t feasible.

While speaking to the Wrestling Inc. Daily, Kurt Angle talked about Daniel Bryan leaving WWE. Angle revealed that he was genuinely surprised that WWE let Daniel Bryan go as he was one of the biggest stars in the company for several years.

“I’m really surprised at that. I never thought that WWE would let him go. Daniel was a big part of the company for the past ten or so years. He was literally the top babyface in the company for a few years, so, I’m really surprised they let him go. But Daniel is probably happier in AEW for whatever reason. I don’t know if it was money or if he wasn’t happy with the direction of his character, but it had to be something that made him leave.”

Daniel Bryan is set to make his debut at AEW All Out on September 5th, so it remains to be seen see how his debut will be received by fans and pro wrestlers alike.
