CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut on last week’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance, a move that created a lot of buzz for the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.

CM Punk is also set to face off against Darby Allin at AEW All Out on September 5 in his in-ring debut.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and Darby Allin had an intense stareoff after CM Punk, Sting and Allin decimated 2point0.

With AEW All Out set to take place in Chicago, CM Punk will have the hometown advantage and the crowd will definitely cheer for him more. It seems this won’t faze Darby Allin.

Darby Allin took to Twitter and made it clear that he couldn’t care less about the Chicago crowd as he’s in it for himself.

I don’t give sh*t who Chicago cheers for Sunday I’m in this for myself

It remains to be seen how well CM Punk will perform in his in-ring debut for AEW and if he will win the match or not.
