Daniel Bryan allowed his WWE contract to run up, his last match in the company was a Universal Title match against Roman Reigns. Now Bryan Danielson is set to make his AEW debut eventually, and that date is reportedly coming up on September 5th at All Out.

Tony Khan appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio where he spoke about how his deal with CM Punk came together. Then Dave Meltzer asked about Bryan Danielson’s status, but that was something Tony Khan couldn’t elaborate on.

“I can’t answer that question, but I mean it’s fair for you to answer that question, but it’s not something I can address on The Observer today, but it’s fair of you to ask it, but he’s one of the all-time greats.”

Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and more are going to add a lot of weight to AEW’s roster very soon. Some of those big additions will have to wait for WWE non-compete clauses to end, but AEW’s roster is going to look much different in a matter of months.
