Awesome Kong Returns To Retire At NWA Empowerrr

Awesome Kong was last seen in AEW, but then she took off and never returned after filming GLOW. It was previously reported that she left pro wrestling and decided to move on. She came back for one special night at NWA Empowerrr.

Kong made a surprise appearance during the NWA Empowerrr event. She did so to reunite with Gal Kim in the ring.

Kim was in danger as Taryn Terrell, Jannacide, and Paola Blaze were about to pounce on her. Then Awesome Kong came out for the save. She walked out to take out Jennacide and Blaze with an implant buster.

Terrell left the ring and then Kong said that she was done with pro wrestling. She returned for one more appearance during a very special night of pro wrestling. After that, Kim and Kong hugged before they left.
