WWE released lot of very talented people in the past several months, including Ever-Rise, now 2point0 in AEW. Matt Lee revealed that his wife was pregnant at the time of their released and that wasn’t a joke. That happy day finally came for him and his wife, but they needed to miss Dynamite in the process.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that 2point0 were supposed to be involved in AEW Dynamite this week. It’s unknown exactly what their role was supposed to be, but they had a “key spot.” Jeff Parker and Matt Lee missed the show because Matt’s wife brought their child into the world.
“So what happened, and I don’t know the whole story, but 2point0 were supposed to be in a key position in the show, so this is where I assume they were supposed to be, and Matt’s wife gave birth, so they had to rearrange things very late in the game. From what I was told those guys were going to be in a very key spot on the show that needed to be changed.”
It’s unclear if 2point0 was supposed to wrestle or be involved in a run-in. The fact is that AEW was certainly going to use them, but life had other plans. Congratulations to Matt and his wife from everyone here at Ringside News!
