WWE Planning Huge Twist For Baron Corbin Storyline

Baron Corbin’s been on a downward spiral since June, as Corbin’s new character has been getting mixed responses from fans, with many feeling it really doesn’t suit him at all. Corbin’s gimmick is that he is in financial turmoil.

In fact, WWE even opened up a GoFundMe page for Baron Corbin, even though it was merely made for show and no fan can actually donate money to it.

Baron Corbin’s also gotten lot of hate as of late because of his character. Corbin also recently had a lot of good luck during his time in Las Vegas as part of a social media storyline.

According to PWInsider , Baron Corbin’s current social media storyline will be used on the SmackDown after SummerSlam and will feature a big twist.

“We are told the Baron Corbin Las Vegas deal will be a WWE social media storyline that will play out all week before Smackdown, at which point there will be some sort of story twist. WWE apparently filmed a lot of content with Corbin in Vegas over the weekend. As we reported last night, there were plans at one point to film content with illusionist Criss Angel in Vegas, but no word as to whether it was part of this.”

We will have to wait and see how Baron Corbin’s current storyline will end and whether it will have a satisfying payoff or not. WWE did register a trademark for “Happy Corbin” in recent memory, so we might finally see them use that name.
