To say CM Punk’s AEW debut last week at AEW Rampage: The First Dance was electrifying would be huge understatement as it completely changed the outlook of AEW. Punk himself absolutely loved his AEW debut. However, it seems a WWE Hall Of Famer felt the debut could have been better.

CM Punk already smashed T-shirt sales records with his first batch of t-shirts. On top of that, even Jim Cornette considered his debut to be perfect.

It even made fans become emotional and cry, and CM Punk appreciated that fact lot. CM Punk is also expected to do lot more than simply competing inside the squared circle.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about CM Punk’s promo. Booker T criticized the promo for talking about WWE instead of putting over AEW.

“CM Punk came back and he had 10 full television minutes to go out there and make his point as far as Punk is coming back. Punk is already set to square off against Darby Allin at the AEW All Out Pay-Per-View on September 5. He is also set to appear on AEW Dynamite next week. It will be interesting to see how Punk will fare in AEW.
