WWE has a ton of trademarks around and their seemingly never ending quest to lock down more names continues. Now the company has registered a new trademark for some software.

The company registered to trademark “WWE Day 1” on August 19th. We are not 100% certain how the company plans to use this trademark, but it is filed under the “computer software” category.

This new filing also mentions “software for the creation of mobile internet applications and client interfaces; Downloadable mobile applications for the streaming of audio and video content.” There are many applications for his new trademark filing and they want to cover all their bases.

Along with filing this trademark for computer software, WWE also left the door open for merchandising purposes. Those merchandising possibilities include, “clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear.” They also left the door open for Halloween costumes with this filing.
